Sometimes I get tired of my own words and need to hit up
the source for information. When I think and talk about the
idea of true love, hard love, real love, there is no better example
than the book of Hosea in the Bible. I know, I know. Matt's goin
all spiritual on us now? What the fuck! But the proof is in the
pudding.

WHEN I think about today's world and the childish Christianity
that exists within, it is no more than a fragmented group of kids
who want to look, act and speak a certain way and cast out others
for not being like them. It is 'supposed' Christians from the southern
states holding picket signs high that read 'God hates fags'. It is
pastors and shiny televangelists actually going on live TV (true
story here) and stating that the reason why the two towers were
hit by terrorists was because there were homosexuals in the
building. It is a social club when in fact it should be a broken
people longing for meaning and life-changing relationship with
the One who made them. So enough of my words. I wonder what
alot of these 'supposed' Christians (I know, no one is perfect)
would think about God telling a good, decent man to go and get
his wife from the city streets, after she had already slept around
and he had already taken her BACK once before, where she had
become a diseased prostitute.

'The Lord said to me "Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is
loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the
Isrealites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes."
So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek
of barley. Then I told her "You are to live with me many days; you must not
be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will live with you".

Hosea 3:1-3

For those of you scoring at home that's a billion for God, zero for us.
