It's The Birthday Boy - Gather Round...
It feels weird to celebrate a birthday. As Seinfeld says in his book
'Sein-Language', "All you did was not die for another year - is that
really worth a massive celebration? What kind of an accomplishment
is that?" It feels a little mundane at times but then, I guess, it is
important to be reminded of our mortality. And on this day, I
guess I'm sensing that...I'm just friggin' blessed to be here.
None of us knows how long we have. Take that into account and
act with that knowledge.
